Programming
Sony New Home Entertainment Solutions are designed for minimum on-site programming by the installer. However, for
greater system flexibility, you will need to perform some basic programming. Depending on the configuration of your system,
there can be four programming steps, as follows:

1. Program the CAV-M1000ES for the cable, satellite or other set-top box
remote codes.

Step 4: Program the CAV-M1000ES for the cable, satellite or other set-top
box remote codes. See "PROGRAMMING STEP 4" on Page 23.
OPTIONAL: Program the CAV-M1000ES and RM-TP100 for
Auxiliary Input source equipment remote codes (if any are
connected). See "PROGRAMMING STEP 4" on Page 23.
Step 1: Download applications and files from the Internet. See
"PROGRAMMING STEP 1" on Page 17.
Step 2: Write a new Setup file to the CAV-M1000ES multi-room
distribution unit. See "PROGRAMMING STEP 2" on Page 19.
Step 3: Write a new Graphic User Interface (GUI) file to the
RM-TP100 RF remote control. See "PROGRAMMING STEP 3"
on Page 20.
Step 4: Program the CAV-M1000ES for the cable, satellite or other set-top
box remote codes. See "PROGRAMMING STEP 4" on Page 23.
