Installation
Main Room: Installing Video Front Projector Wall Plates
1. Connect all the projector cables to wall plates.
2. Connect the following cables to wall plate connectors that have an RCA jack inside and outside:
A. Red (Pr)
B. Green (Y)
C. Blue (Pb)
D. Composite video
3. Label the wall plate outputs. Remember that many of the connectors will look the same.
4. Connect the infrared (IR) remote control cable to a wall plate connector that has a 1/8-inch minijack (female).
A. Use a cable stripping tool to strip off about two inches of the jacket insulation.
B. Untwist each conductor and spread the conductors out.
C. Strip off 1/4-inch of insulation and connect the White/Orange conductor to the tip terminal of the minijack.
D. Strip off 1/4-inch of insulation and connect tithe Orange conductor to the sleeve terminal of the minijack.
5. Label the IR remote control wall plate output.
6. Screw the wall plate into the junction box.
7. Affix the face plate, if necessary loosening the wall plate screws for a snug fit to the wall.
Main Room: Connecting the Video Front Projector
1. Use RCA cables to connect the Red (Pr), Green (Y) and Blue (Pb) wall plate connectors to the Pr, Y and Pb inputs of the video
front projector.
2. Use an RCA cable to connect the composite video wall plate connector to the composite video input of the video front projector.
3. Attach an IR remote control flasher to the infrared remote receiving window of the video front projector.
4. Insert the 1/8-inch miniplug of the IR flasher cable into the IR remote control wall plate minijack.
