Installation
System Rack: Main Room Subwoofer
Insert the Subwoofer cable plug into the "Sub (Line Out)" jack of the back panel.
System Rack: Auxiliary Source Components
To connect the Aux 1 source component.
1. Use RCA cables to connect the composite video and Left/Right analog audio outputs of the Aux 1 source component to the
corresponding Aux 1 inputs of the System Rack.
2. Insert the 1/8-inch miniplug of an IR flasher cable into the IR Aux 1 IR Out jack of the System Rack.
3. Attach the IR remote control flasher to the infrared remote receiving window of the Aux 1 source component.
To connect the Aux 2 source component (NHS-3020 and NHS-2020 only).
1. Use RCA cables to connect the Red (Pr), Green (Y) and Blue (Pb) outputs of the Aux 2 source component to the corresponding Aux
2 inputs of the System Rack.
2. Use an RCA cable to connect the coaxial digital audio output of the Aux 2 source component to the corresponding Aux 2 input of the
System Rack.
3. Use RCA cables to connect the composite video and Left/Right analog audio outputs of the Aux 2 source component to the
corresponding Aux 2 inputs of the System Rack.
4. Insert the 1/8-inch miniplug of an IR flasher cable into the IR Aux 2 IR Out jack of the System Rack.
5. Attach the IR remote control flasher to the infrared remote receiving window of the Aux 2 source component.
System Rack: Main Room Television
1. Insert the Television Left and Right cable plugs into the "TV Audio L and R" jacks of the back panel.
2. Insert the Television Video cable plug into the "Video Main V" output jack of the back panel.
3. Insert the R (Pr), G (Y), B (Pb) Television cable plugs into the "Component Video Output" jacks of the back panel.
4. Connect the Television RF cable to the "RF [To TV]" output of the back panel.
5. Terminate the IR remote control cable with a 1/8-inch miniplug.
A. Use a cable stripping tool to strip off about two inches of the jacket insulation.
B. Untwist each conductor and spread the conductors out.
C. Strip off 1/4-inch of insulation and connect the White/Orange conductor to the tip terminal of the miniplug.
D. Strip off 1/4-inch of insulation and connect tithe Orange conductor to the sleeve terminal of the miniplug.
6. Connect the IR remote control cable to the minijack labeled "IR to TV."
