Programming
Downloading the Software
1. Using your Windows laptop PC, visit the CAV-M1000ES Support Website at http://www.sony.com/m1000.

2. Click on DOWNLOADS. You'll see a list of possible downloads. Be careful, many of the downloads have similar names.
3. Click on CAV-M1000ES Setup Software & Documentation.
4. Click on the SAVE button. The download will begin.
5. When the download ends, click on the OPEN FOLDER button.
6. In the file folder, double-click on the file icon setup.exe. This will install the CAV-M1000ES Setup Software (CAVM1000ES.exe) in
the directory of your choice, as well as provide documentation including the software Operating Instructions (M1000 Setup
Software Manual.pdf).
7. From your laptop PC web browser, go back to the CAV-M1000ES DOWNLOADS web page. If necessary, repeat steps 1)
and 2) above.
8. Click on RM-TP100 Editor Software & Documentation.
9. Click on the SAVE button. The download will begin.
10. When the download ends, click on the OPEN FOLDER button.
11. In the file folder, double-click on the file icon RM-TP100_Setup.msi. This will install the RM-TP1000 Editor Software
(RMTP100Editor.exe) in the directory of your choice, as well as provide the software Operating Instructions (RM-TP100Help.pdf)
in addition to a related files and folders.
Downloading the files from the Internet
1. Using your Windows laptop PC, visit the Sony New Home Website at http://www.sony.com/newhome.

2. Log in to the Dealer Login site by entering your email address and your password and clicking on Dealer Login in the upper right
corner (create account if not done previously).
3. The files are different for each system. From the list of systems, click on NHS-3020, NHS-2020 or NHS-1020.
4. You will need two files: a CAV-M1000ES Setup file (file extension *.mbu) and an RM-TP100 GUI file (file extension *.gui).
Find the files you need from the following choices:
System
For NO cable, satellite or other set top box.
For video front projector
5. Click on each file you need download to your PC.
