mount -r /dev/cdromdevicefile /mountpoint
where cdromdevicefile is the specific device file for the CD-ROM block device
(typically /dev/cdrom), and mountpoint is the mount point to use (typically /mnt).
Note: The filename in this command changes with each release of Red Hat
Linux. Before typing this command, list the files in the
/mnt/programs/linux/manager directory to verify the filename.
rpm --install /mnt/programs/linux/manager/RaidMan-4.70.i386.rpm
where mnt is the mount point of the device file used in step 3.
Note: For operating systems that automount the CD-ROM drive, you must first
close the window displaying the files on the CD.
umount /mnt
where mnt is the mount point of the device file used in step 3.
