Install Cage Nuts, if Needed

Install cage nuts, if needed, in the mounting holes specified in
On the front of the rack rails, install cage nuts for the chassis.

On the back of the rack rails, install cage nuts for the large shelf.

Install the Large Mounting Shelf and Spacer Bars

On the back of each rack rail, partially insert a mounting screw in the highest hole

Install the large shelf on the rack. Hang the shelf over the mounting screws using the

keyhole slots located near the top of the large shelf flanges.
Partially insert a mounting screw into the open holes in each large shelf flange.

Tighten all the screws completely.

Remove the Spacer Bars and Center-Mounting Brackets

The router is shipped with a spacer bar attached to the back of each front-mounting
flange, and two center-mounting brackets attached to the chassis.
If you plan to front-mount the router in an open-frame rack:
Remove the spacer bars by loosening the screws that fasten the spacer bars to the

front-mounting flange.
Remove the center-mounting brackets from the chassis by loosening the screws

at the top and bottom of each bracket.
If you plan to center-mount the router in an open-frame rack, leave the center-mounting
brackets attached to the chassis. Optionally, you can remove the spacer bars.
