5-2-2 Parallel interference prevention specification (12-core cable)
The parallel interference prevention specification (12-core cable) is only for line synchronization.
The parallel interference prevention output wire (red) of the light curtain receiver is connected to
the parallel interference prevention input wire (gray / black) of a different light curtain emitter to
prevent mutual interference.
When the parallel interference prevention specification (12-core cable) is set, the function set-
ting indicator (orange) of the light curtain receiver lights up.
● When set to the parallel interference prevention specification (12-core cable), the response time
is fixed at 14ms, regardless of the interference prevention wires.
● Parallel interference prevention is possible for up to a total of three sets. For details, refer to the
"SF4D Series Instruction Manual".
● When parallel interference prevention is used and the master light curtain settings are read,
written, or initialized, or maintenance mode is turned ON, the slave light curtain control output
(OSSD 1 / 2) also turns OFF to ensure safety.
When set to the parallel interference prevention specification (12-core cable), the following func-
tions of the input / output wires change.
