For initialization using NOM or SUb, the follower pin must be in-
serted into the correct pin position according to the valve
travel/angle of rotation.

For initialization using NOM or SUb, the nominal travel/angle of
rotation of the valve must be entered.
The permissible adjustment range depends on the pin position
according to the table.
After initialization has been successfully completed, the maximum
nominal travel/angle reached on initialization is displayed.
Select the initialization mode
MAX: Maximum range of the control valve, the travel/angle of
the closure member from the CLOSED position to the
opposite stop in the actuator.
NOM: Nominal range of the control valve, the travel/angle of
the closure member measured from the CLOSED position
to the indicated OPEN position.
MAN: Manual adjustment: upper x-range value
SUb: No self-adjustment (emergency mode)
ZP: Zero calibration
Direction of action of the reference variable w in relation to the
travel/angle of rotation x (increasing/increasing or in-
creasing/decreasing)
Automatic adaptation:
AIR TO OPEN:
On completing initialization, the direction of action remains in-
creasing/increasing (ää), a globe valve opens as the mA signal
increases.
AIR TO CLOSE:
On completing initialization, the direction of action changes to
increasing/decreasing (äæ ), a globe valve closes as the mA
signal increases.
