O REMOVE THE COPIER INTERFACE BOARD
1 Shut down and open the ColorPASS (see pages
To remove the copier interface board, you must remove the left panel.
2 Make sure that the copier interface cable is removed from the ColorPASS back panel.
3 Remove the board mounting bracket screw that attaches the copier interface to the chassis.
4 Remove the copier interface board from motherboard connector PCI-E6.
Grasp the copier interface board at the front and back edges and gently pull the board straight
out of its motherboard connector.
5 Place the copier interface board in an antistatic bag.

O REPLACE THE COPIER INTERFACE BOARD
1 Seat the copier interface board in connector PCI-E6 on the motherboard (the topmost
connector), and then secure it to the chassis with the board mounting bracket screw that you
removed earlier.
The copier interface board edge connector is keyed to fit in slot PCI-E6 only when properly
oriented.
2 Reassemble the ColorPASS and verify its functionality (see
