Evinrude E-TEC Engine Warnings
ICON gauges monitor engine conditions and display warnings in the event of a malfunction. The following
table lists warnings that are specific to Evinrude E-TEC models. Refer to the outboard Operator's Guide if
engine warnings are displayed.

Water in fuel detected.
Water pressure sensor failure.
Water-in-fuel detected/sensor has failed.
Throttle position sensor fault detected.
Engine 55V circuit out of range.

Check cooling water intakes.
Battery is discharged.
Oil pump/circuit failure.
ICON Remote Control communication error.
ICON System has initiated S.A.F.E.
ICON Remote Control failure.
ICON ESM communication error.
ICON Throttle Actuator sensor fault.
ICON Throttle Actuator motion fault.
ICON Shift Actuator Sensor fault.
