Cooling module fundamentals
• You can use two 9012FCHS I/O cooling modules or two 9012FC I/O cooling modules in
the Virtual Services Platform 9012. Do not use the 9012FCHS I/O and the 9012FC I/O
cooling modules together.
• The CP monitors the temperature for each module. If the temperature exceeds the
software configured limit, the CP shuts down only the affected module. The I/O cooling
modules are hot swappable. You can replace them, one at a time, without turning off the
Virtual Services Platform 9000.
