Support base for IM B5 construction type

For construction type IM B5, the machine has to be supported with an additional support base
at the NDE. The support base is not included in the scope of supply. Therefore, use an
appropriately sized support base with corresponding rigidity. At the bottom of the machine,
there is a plate with a threaded hole M36x40 where you can fasten the support base.
The weight of the machine is stated on the rating plate, data on geometry is shown in the
dimension drawing.
Missing support at the NDE
If the machine has no additional support at the NDE, the flange cannot hold the weight of the
machine. The machine or machine parts may loosen.
This can result in death, serious injury or material damage.
Use an appropriately sized support base.
4.11 Noise emissions
Noise emissions
During operation, the machine's noise emission levels can exceed those permitted at the
workplace, which can cause hearing damage.
Take steps to reduce noise, such as introducing covers and protective insulation or adopting
hearing protection measures, so that the machine can be operated safely within your system.
