The board provides inrush current protection which allows the board to be
installed into the backplane of a powered system. The voltages are current
protected, i.e. all board voltages will be turned off if the current of the 5V or
3.3V system environment exceeds the limits stated above. The +/-12V of
the PMC slots are passively protected with positive temperature coefficient
(PTC) fuses.
