To send an active call to voicemail, from the Features screen, select Transfer to Voicemail.

Making a call

About this task
If you are not on a call, dial the number you want to call. Use the Phone screen to view and
manage calls. Press Phone to view the main Phone screen. When the phone displays the Phone
screen, press Phone to move to the top of the call appearance list.
Procedure
1. Lift the handset, or press Speaker or Headset (if applicable) or a line button for an
available line.
2. Dial the number you want to call.
If you are on a mute call, you can select an available call line appearance by using Up or
Down arrows.

Precedence call

Making a priority call with precedence provides user with options to override other calls. There are
five precedence level that you can choose. You can manually dial the extension number or select
the extension from Favorites, Recents, or Contacts. The precedence level is valid for only one
call session. The call precedence level are categorized under the following options and order:
• FO: Flash Override. Highest precedence.
• FL: Flash.
• IM: Immediate.
• PR: Priority.
• Routine: (Default) Lowest precedence. Routine is highlighted on the call session line if no
call is made within five minutes.
You can initiate a precedence call from Busy Indicator and Bridged Appearance. Initiating a
precedence call from WML browser and Team button is not supported.
Making a precedence call
There are five methods by which you can make a priority call:
• Dial plan configuration: Configuration is done on Local Session Controller (LSC) or Enterprise
Session Controller (ESC) with Feature Access Code (FAC).
