Slot definition and numbering

In the following table, the term "slot" refers to the available slot openings in the chassis, not
the PCI connectors inside the server.
The slots are numbered from the bottom of the server to the top. Slot 1 is the bottom slot in
the chassis when the chassis is standing upright.

a. In CallPilot Manager applications, the CallPilot-assigned board label may appear. This
lable corresponds to the slot number. For example, BRD01 refers to the board in slot 1.

Network connectivity

This section describes how the 703t server can be integrated into your network. The integration
depends on the type of switch you are using.

To secure the Avaya CallPilot server from unauthorized access, ensure that the CallPilot
network is inside your organization's firewall.
