Chapter 5: Secure Router 4134 chassis
Install the Avaya Secure Router 4134 chassis in a 19-in. (48.26 cm) equipment rack. You must securely
install the chassis in an equipment rack before completing any further tasks associated with installation,
such as grounding the chassis and installing internal and external modules. The term "chassis" refers to
the Secure Router unit with the power supply and fan tray modules installed.
Prerequisites to Secure Router 4134 chassis installation
• Ensure you have antistatic material available.
• Ensure you wear an antistatic wrist strap that is connected to an ESD jack, and that makes
good contact with your skin.
• Ensure the power supply and fan tray modules are installed. For information on installing
