6.15 Replacing Flowmeter
DANGER!
Risk of Death, Injury, or Damage
To prevent electrical shock
– ALWAYS disconnect concentrator from electrical outlet before servicing.
PE valve not shown.
Only VAW model is shown. Flowmeter for the AW model replaces in the same manner.
1.
Turn power Off (O) and unplug the unit..
2.
Remove cabinet. Refer to 6.1 Removing Cabinet, page 17.
3.
Note the location of the tubing for accurate replacement after new flowmeter is installed.
Remove control panel A. Refer to 6.10.2 Replacing the Control Panel, page 30.
4.
Remove palnuts B that secure flowmeter C to the control panel.

Remove flowmeter from front of control panel and discard.
7.
Install new flowmeter reversing STEPS 5-6.
8.
Reinstall control panel. Refer to 6.10.2 Replacing the Control Panel, page 30.
9.
Run unit and check for leaks where ¼-inch tubing engages flowmeter barbed fittings D. Refer to 8.1 Leak Test, page 41 and reverse ALL steps.
10. Reinstall cabinet. Refer to 6.1 Removing Cabinet, page 17 and reverse all steps.
