Probable Cause
On/Off (I/O) switch.
1.
Disconnected wire.
2.
Faulty switch.
P. C. board.
1.
P. C. board damaged.
2.
Loose or damaged connector.
P.C. board faulty.
Transformer assembly.
1.
Faulty.
2.
Connector loose or disconnected.
3.
Faulty wiring.
P. C. board:
1.
Malfunction
2.
Disconnected wire.
3.
Shifting valve at pressures greater
than 25 psi for concentrator.
4–way Valve:
1.
Pilot Valve not shifting.
2.
Coil resistance
3.
4–way Valve/Manifold assembly is
stuck.
Heat exchanger:
1.
Leak at tubing or body chamber.
2.
Inspect tubing and heat exchanger.
Compressor:
1.
Leaks at fittings or tubing.
2.
Leaking or defective relief valve.
3.
Insufficient voltage at outlet.
4.
Worn cup seals or gaskets.
Compressor inlet filter dirty or
plugged.
Solution
Check all electrical connections to the ON/OFF
(I/O) switch for any disconnected wires.
If the concentrator does not come on at all and
wiring is intact, label and remove wires one at a time.
Remove and replace with new one. Transfer wires
from old switch to new switch one at a time to the
matching contact.

Replace P. C. Board. Refer to 6.12 Replacing P.
C. Board, page 32.
2.
Repair or replace connector.
Replace P. C. board. Unit requires retiming after P.
C. board replacement. Refer to 6.12 Replacing P. C.
Board, page 32.
1.
Replace. Refer to 6.13 Replacing the
Transformer, page 33.
2.
Reattach connector.
3.
Replace transformer assembly. Refer to 6.13
Replacing the Transformer, page 33.
1.
Set flow to max L/min. for concentrator. Check
voltage across pilot valve on volt DC scale. If
meter reads 0 volts when unit is turned On (I),
replace P. C. board. Refer to 6.12 Replacing P.
C. Board, page 32.
2.
Check spade connectors on pilot valve and
connectors on P. C. board.
3.
Replace P. C. board. Unit requires retiming after
P. C. board replacement. Refer to 6.12 Replacing
P. C. Board, page 32.
1.
Check the resistance on the pilot valve. Replace
the valve if shorted or open. Refer to 6.18
Replacing Pilot Assembly, page 38.
2.
Replace 4–way valve. Refer to 6.17 Replacing
4-Way Valve and/or Manifold Assembly, page 37.
3.
Coil should read 80 ohm ± 20.
1.
Replace or retighten tubing.
2.
Replace heat exchanger.
1.
Replace or repair.
2.
Repair lead or replace.
3.
DO NOT use extension cords. Use another
outlet.
4.
Replace compressor. Refer to 6.2 Replacing
Compressor Assembly, page 18.
Replace compressor inlet filter. Refer to 5.4
Replacing the Compressor Inlet HEPA Filter, page 13.
