5.5 Replacing the Muffler Assembly

Perform this procedure during preventive maintenance or between patients depending upon the environment the concentrator is used in.
Filter, capacitor, and PE valve not shown.

1. Turn power Off (O) and unplug the unit.
2. Remove cabinet. Refer to 6.1 Removing Cabinet, page 17.
Cut tie wrap A that secures the bottom of the manifold exhaust tube B to the "F" tube C.

4. Remove the bottom of the manifold exhaust tube from the "F" tube.
5. Disconnect and remove the top of the manifold exhaust tube D from the grommet E.
6. Push the muffler assembly down through the opening in the sound box F.
Cut the two tie wraps G around the muffler assembly.

8. Separate the muffler assembly.
