Setting phone with Web configurator

You can make the following settings using the Web configurator:
u
Connect your phone to the local network (
u
Configuration for telephony:
– Enter settings for the VoIP provider and configuring or activating/deacti-
vating VoIP accounts (
– Specify the name of the fixed line network (
– Activate/deactivate the Gigaset.net connection (
– Activate/deactivate call forwarding for calls to your VoIP numbers or to
your Gigaset.net number (
– Configure settings to improve voice quality for the VoIP connections

– Define the default line for your telephone (fixed line network or VoIP)
£
(
– Assign VoIP phone numbers to individual handsets as send/receive num-
bers (
– Determine fixed line network and VoIP phone numbers for which the
answering machine of the base station should record calls
£

– Define user-specific dialling plans for emergency numbers and for cost
control purposes (
– Enter and activate/deactivate the network mailbox for each number
assigned to the telephone (
– Define the type of DTMF signalling (e.g. for remote operation of a VoIP
network mailbox) and the recall key function for VoIP (
– Enter settings for call forwarding via VoIP (call transfer, i.e. connecting
two external callers to each other,

Output of information from an IP info service on the handset (
u
Synchronise date and time on the base station with a time server on the
Internet (

Start firmware updates (
u
Manage registered handsets:
– Change names and internal numbers of the registered handsets

tories or save handset directories to your PC (
– Activate/deactivate the display of VoIP status messages on your handset
