S
If you store the UPS for a long period, recharge the batteries at least
every 10 months by applying utility power. The batteries charge to
80% capacity in approximately 3 hours. However, it is recommended
that the batteries charge for 48 hours after long-term storage.
S
Check the battery recharge date on the shipping carton label. If the
date has expired and the batteries were never recharged, do not use
the UPS. Contact your service representative.
When the
indicator flashes and the LCD panel displays Battery
Failure, the batteries may need replacing. Contact your service
representative to order new batteries.
Replace/change the batteries approximately every five years.
The following battery type is supplied with the UPS. Only the following
type is recommended. Use of any other battery type inside Eaton
cabinets will void the product warranty.
When replacing batteries, use the same manufacturer and part number originally supplied
with the UPS to ensure correct harness fit and terminal landing.
