• Continuous reading mode 1

• Auto sensing mode
The factory default setting is auto-off
mode.

Built-in antenna

Bluetooth
antenna.
Do not modify this
antenna section or cover it
by hand.
Battery cover
Remove this to replace the battery
cartridge.
(Refer to Chapter 10 for details.)
Indicator LED
This turns blue after a successful read and red if
there is an error. It also indicates the Bluetooth
interface status and, when the scanner is in its
charger, the charging status.
(Refer to Section 8.2 for details.)
Vibrator
The vibrator is integrated here.
It offers configuration choices: indicating
successful scanning (OK) and an error (NG).
The factory default setting is "OK" vibrations.
(Refer to Section 8.3 for details.)

Magic key
Holding down this key for approx. 2
seconds breaks Bluetooth
links. This key also functions as an
auxiliary key for reads, data transfers,
and the like. These auxiliary functions
include:
- Data retransfer function
- Ready/standby switching function
- Readable code switching function
- Marker mode switching function
- Specific character transfer function
- Bar code reader mode switching
function
The factory configuration assigns none
of these functions to this key.
