Using Your Blocked List To Unblock Contacts - Polycom Sound station IP 5000 User Manual

To view a list of contacts that can and cannot monitor your status, do the following:

To view contacts that cannot view your status, press the Menu key, and then

select Features > Presence > Blocked List.
To view contacts that can view your status, press the Menu key, and then select
•
Features > Presence > Watcher List.
T o block or unblock a contact:
1. Press , and then select Featu res > Con tact D irectory.
2. From the Directory, scroll to the contact.
To scroll through a list of contacts, use the * key to Page Up and the # key
to Page Dow n.
3. Press the Ed it soft key.
4. From the Ed it Contact screen, scroll to the Block Bu d d y field , and then
choose En ab led or D isab led .
When Block Bud d y is enabled , the contact cannot w atch your phone. The
contact w ill d isp lay in you r Blocked List. When Block Bu d d y is d isabled ,
the contact can w atch you r phone. The contact w ill d isplay in you r
Watcher List.
The d efau lt for Block Bu d d y is Disabled .
5. Press the Save soft key.
6. Press
to return to the id le screen.

Using Your Blocked List to Unblock Contacts

Use the Blocked List to quickly unblock a contact, rather than u p d ating the
Block Bu d d y setting for the contact in your Contact Directory.
T o use your Blocked List to unblock a contact:
1. Press , and then select Featu res > Presen ce > Block ed List.
The Blocked List screen d isplays.
2. Scroll to the contact.
3. Press the Un b lock soft key.
