T o answer a call when you're in an active call:
>> Scroll to the incom ing call, and then p ress the An sw er soft key.
The original call is held , and the new call becom es the active call.
T o answer a call when you have only held calls:
>> Press
If you have a shared line and answer the call, and then want someone on another
phone configured to use the same shared line to take the call, press the
Hold soft key. The other person will then be able to answer the call from their
phone.
Note

Placing Calls

You can p lace a call by d oing one of the follow ing:
Entering a phone nu m ber.
Entering an IP ad d ress or URL.
Choosing an entry in a call list, d irectory, or speed d ial list.
Red ialing the previously p laced call.
You can place a call if your phone already has calls:
If your phone only has an active call, hold the active call, press
New Call soft key, and then place the new call.
Note
If your phone only has held calls, press
place the new call.
If your phone has an active call and held calls, scroll to a held call, press the
New Call soft key, and place the new call. The active call will be held.

Calling by Entering a Phone Number

You can d ial a p hone nu m ber w ith a d ial tone or w ithout a d ial tone.
T o dial a phone number with a dial tone:
1. Press
2. Enter the phone nu m ber of the party you w ant to call.
3. Press the Sen d soft key.
