Calling from a Directory

You can p lace a call from the Contact Directory or Corp orate Directory.
T o call from the Contact Directory:
1. Press
2. From the Directory screen, find the contact you w ant to call, and then
p ress the D ial soft key.
T o call from the Corporate Directory:
1. Press
2. From the Corporate Directory search screen, search for the contact you
w ant to call (see

Calling from the Speed Dial List

Use the sp eed d ial featu re for fast, autom ated d ialing.
Only entries in your Contact Directory can be set up as speed dial entries. When
you create a Contact Directory entry, the phone automatically assigns a Speed Dial
Index number to the entry. You can change the index number or delete it. To create
a new Contact Directory entry with a speed dial index number, see

T o place a call from the speed dial list:
1. Press
2. From the Speed Dial Info screen, d o one of the follow ing:
— If you know the contact's sp eed d ial ind ex num ber, enter the num ber.
or
— If you d on't know the contact's sp eed d ial ind ex nu m ber, scroll to the
contact, and then p ress the Dial soft key.
