Output tab
Each output section contains adjustable features for each audio output. Features include
output limiters, mix options, and volume control.
An output limiter restricts the input signal level by compressing its dynamic range above
a specified threshold. The limiter is most commonly used to prevent clipping, protecting a
system against component or speaker damage.
Mix options determines the type of program audio to output and whether to include the
mic/line input.

Click the
button to enable or disable a limiter on the output.
Limiter

Select the desired mix option from the Mix Options panel. The options are different for
the IN1608 SA and IN1608 MA models.
For IN1608 SA models, the mix options include the following:
Stereo Program
Dual Mono Program
No Program
For IN1608 MA models, the mix options include the following:
L + R Program (Mono)
No Program

For the desired output, select the
output.

If desired, click the
Mute
output. The button turns red when the output is muted. Ignore step 5 if an output is
muted. Click the button again to unmute the audio.

If an output is not muted, adjust the level in one of the following ways:
Click and drag the handle of the audio level slider of the corresponding output.
Click the

Down
Enter a value in the field of the corresponding output.
NOTE: On the IN1608 SA, click the 
simultaneously.

check box to include the mic/line mix in the
Mic/Line

arrows in the field below the corresponding output.
