4. For each Mic/Line input, select the
ducking. Enabling ducking opens additional ducking settings as described below.
Ducking provides a means to duck or lower the level of the program audio when a
specified Mic/Line source must take precedence.
a. In the field, enter a value or click the
Threshold
input signal level the mic/line input must exceed before ducking begins. The default
value is -30 dBFS.
b. In the field, enter a value or click the
Hold Time
time between when a mic/line input signal drops below the threshold and before
release time engages. The default value is 1000 ms.
c. In the
Release Time
set the time the ducking targets take to restore program audio signal levels after
the mic/line input level is below the threshold and the hold time is met. The default
value is 1000 ms.
d. Select the applicable
