Unit Versions
This section describes the notation that is used for unit versions, the confirmation method for unit ver-
sions, and the relationship between unit versions and Support Software versions.
Unit Versions
A "unit version" has been introduced to manage the Units in the NX Series according to differences in
functionality accompanying Unit upgrades.
An example is provided below for Communications Coupler Units and NX Units. For the notation that is
used for the unit versions of CPU Units or Industrial PCs and the confirmation method for unit versions,
refer to the user's manual for each Unit.
Notation of Unit Versions on Products
The unit version is given with the Unit specifications on the side of the Unit or in the notched area.
