Follow the procedure below when using the NT11S for the first time or when
changing the system.
Create the screen data to be displayed on the NT11S by using a support tool.
For the screen data creation, refer to the "NT-series NT11S Support Tool Opera-
tion Manual" (V030-E1-1).
Turn ON the power to the NT11S.
When no screen data has been registered, the "SYSTEM MENU" will be dis-
played. If the NT11S enters the RUN mode, press appropriate function keys to dis-
play the System Menu.
Select a System Menu and initialize the NT11S unit memory.
Connect the NT11S to the system transfer tool and transfer the system program
from the system transfer tool to the NT11S.
For details on connecting the NT11S to the system transfer tool, see 3-5 "Transfer-
ring the System Program" (page 51).
Connect a support tool to the NT11S and transfer the screen data from the support
tool to the NT11S.
For the connection of a support tool, refer to Section 2-3 Connecting to the Support
Tool. (page 25)
Select the System Menu and set the conditions for communications with the PC
using the memory switch.
Connect to the PC and start the operation.
If an error has occurred during operation, check the I/Os, settings, etc. referring to
this guide.
