Parts Required for Connection

The RS-422A cable used for RS-422A communications is not supplied by OM-
RON. Make this cable in accordance with the environment (PC used and transmis-
sion distance between the NT11S and PC).
One connector, one connector cover and one cable are required to make up a con-
necting cable. One connector and one connector cover is supplied with the PC.
However, a cable of the type recommended by OMRON must be prepared.
For details on making the cable, refer to "Making the Cable for Connection to the
PC (RS-422A Type)" in the appendix (page 150). The table below lists the compo-
nents supplied with each unit and the recommended cables.
