Under no circumstances should you open the throttle while switching on the
ignition!
The vehicle is equipped with a safety system that switches off the engine in case
of a malfunction in the throttle lever, throttle cable or carburetor. When the igni-
tion is switched on, a system check is performed during which the throttle lever
must be in its basic position. If not, the safety system detects a malfunction
and blocks the ignition current. When the electric starter button is activated,
the electric starter turns over the engine, but the engine does not start because
there is no ignition spark.

Shift gear to neutral.
The green idling speed indicator lamp N light up.
Condition
The engine is cold
–
Pull choke lever out as far as possible.
Condition
The engine is hot
–
Pull the hot start button (red) all the way out.
