11. Drop the Control Compartment. Fig. 7.6.
• Locate and loosen the two 10 mm nuts that secure
the Control Compartment sides to the firebox floor.
• Slide the Compartment forward through the keyway
slots to disengage it from the nuts.
• Carefully extend the wire harnesses and set the
compartment on the floor.
12. Regulator Conversion. Fig. 7.7.
• Using a Torx T-20 screwdriver, remove the screws from
the front of the original regulator.
• Remove the regulator components from the valve and
disconnect the motor leads from the IFC box as shown
in fig. 7.8.
• Install the LP regulator motor using the new
components included in that kit.
• Connect the motor leads to Terminal M on the IFC.

13. Reinstall the Control Compartment and Utility Panel.
• Engage the Compartment keyway slots with the
firebox nuts, but do not tighten.
• Engage the Utility Panel with the lower bolts on
the rear leg and re-attach the Panel to the back of the
Control Compartment using the M6 bolts previously
removed.
• Tighten the fasteners in this order:
1. Upper Utility Panel bolts
2. Lower Utility Panel bolts
3. 10mm Control Compartment nuts
