Installing the clamp bracket

1. Install the tilt stop levers and spring onto
the swivel bracket assembly.
2. Install the trim sensor 1 onto the star-
board clamp bracket.
NOTE:
Adjust the trim sensor after installing the PTT
unit.
3. Install the friction plate 2 onto the clamp
bracket 3, and then install the bushings
4, washers 5. and then assemble the
clamp brackets and the swivel bracket.
4. Connecting the ground lead 6, installing
the through tube 7, and then tightening
the self-locking nut 8 temporary.

down the swivel bracket.

Installing the PTT unit

1. Fully tilt the outboard motor up, and then
support it with the tilt stop lever 1.

9 When installing the PTT unit without
removing the power unit, be sure to sus-
pend the outboard motor. Otherwise, the
outboard motor could suddenly fall and
result in injury.
9 After tilting the outboard motor up, be
sure to support it with the tilt stop lever.
