Install Supplies

To prepare the printer to print cards, install the ink ribbon and retransfer film on the appropriate
cartridges, install a cleaning sleeve into the printer, and load blank card stock into the input
hopper.
If your system includes an embosser, also load topping foil and indent ribbon into the
embosser. Refer to

Install the Ink Ribbon

The printer uses the ink ribbon to print the card images onto the retransfer film.
Do the following to load the ink ribbon.
1.
Remove the ink ribbon cartridge from the printer.
2.
Place the ink ribbon cartridge on a flat surface
with the spindles facing up.
3.
Open the ink ribbon package and remove the ink
ribbon. Hold the ribbon cores and pull them up
from the package base.
