The indent ribbon is used to apply black (or white) color to a single line of indented characters. The printer supplies include a cleaning sleeve.

    Activate the System from the LCD Menu If your system requires activation, obtain an activation code from Datacard technical phone support at 1-800-328-3996. Do this before starting the activation process. Have the printer and embosser serial numbers ready for phone confirmation. The printer serial number is located on the printer configuration label on the outside of the shipping box and on the swingarm of the printer.

    Configure the Printer The printer can use either of the following network communication methods: DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)—The network automatically assigns the IP  address to the printer. The IP address of a printer that uses DHCP can change if the printer is powered off and back on.
