Inspections
Test Emergency Controls
46 Shut off the engine.
47 Pull out the red Emergency Stop button to
the on position.
48 Press down the foot switch.
49 Simultaneously hold the emergency power
switch on and activate each function control
handle or toggle switch.
Note: To conserve battery power, test each
function through a partial cycle.
Result: All boom and steer functions should
operate. Drive functions should not operate with
emergency power.
Test the Lift/Drive Select Function
50 Press down the foot switch.
51 Move the drive control handle off center.
52 Activate each boom function toggle switch.
Result: No boom functions should operate. The
machine will move in the direction indicated on
the control panel.
