3.2.8 Engine Unit Removal
Step 1:
Remove the upper case (Refer to section 3.2.2.)
Step 2:
Remove the inverter board (Refer to section 3.2.4.)
Step 3:
Remove the shield plate C (Refer to section 3.2.5.)
Step 4:
Remove the front panel unit (Refer to section 3.2.3.)
Step 5:
Remove the power supply unit (Refer to section 3.2.5.)
Step 6:
Remove only the four CB (M3 x 6) screws that secures the engine unit and the base frame.
Step 7:
Disconnect CN2, CN4, CN7, CN12, CN6 (lock-type), CN8, and CN1.
NOTE: When remove / insert the cable from / to the CN6, the lock must be released / locked before
/ after the process.
Step 8:
Secure the engine unit and the scanner horizontally with slowly.

engine unit.
