1.5 MAIN COMPONENT

For fast maintenance and repair, the components of the FilmScan 200 has been designed for easy
removal and replacement. The main components are as follows:

1.5.1 Digital Board

This is the main controller board for the scanner. This board uses CPU HD6413003 (IC8) as a controller
for each function blocks on the circuit. To simplify the circuitry, the circuits for correcting the image data
signals are collected into the ASICs. The main Ics are used for the board are as below.
1) CPU (IC8:HD6413003F16)
2) ASIC (IC4: E02A14ED) and (IC7: E02A17BA)
3) Program ROM (EEPROM or MASK ROM)
4) D-RAM (IC5 and IC10: TC518128)
5) D-RAM (IC6: LH5P832)

1.5.2 Sub Board (only for SCSI model)

The sub board contains a CENTRONICS 50-pin full-size connector, a D-SUB 25-pin connector, a
terminator switch, and a rotary switch for ID setting.
