Powering a storage unit on and off (real-time only)

Complete this task to power on or power off a storage unit, bringing it online or
taking it offline, respectively.
1. In the navigation, select Real-time manager → Manage hardware → Storage

Unit emergency power off (UEPO) switch

The UEPO switch is the red switch located on the rack operator panel. It must be
used with extreme caution and only when the power must be dropped
immediately for a safety concern.
The UEPO switch immediately shuts off all power to the machine. So, when the
UEPO switch is turned off, all data not written to disk is lost and not recoverable.
Note: Using this switch often results in data loss.
