Conventions used in this guide

The following typefaces are used to show emphasis:
boldface
italics
monospace
Text in boldface represents menu items and lowercase or mixed-case
command names.
Text in italics is used to emphasize a word. In command syntax, it is used
for variables for which you supply actual values.
Text in monospace identifies the data or commands that you type, samples
of command output, or examples of program code or messages from the
system.
