CYLINDER HEADNALVE
Remove the following:
- spring retainer
inner and outer valve springs

-valve
- stem seal
- valve spring seat
NOTE:
Mark all parts during disassembly so they can be
Remove the carbon deposits from the combustion
chamber and clean off the gasket surface, being care-
ful not to damage the gasket and valve seat surfaces.
INSPECTION
CYLINDER HEAD
Check the spark plug hole and valve areas for cracks.
Check the cylinder head for warpage with a straight
edge and feeler gauge.
SERVICE LIMIT 0.10
VALVE SPRING
Measure the valve spring free length.
