1.1.1 Important safety and product information
This Operating Guide is associated with ECL Application Key A232
(order code no. 087H3812).
The ECL Application Key A232 contains 5 subtypes:
A232.1 (applicable in ECL Comfort 210 and 310)
A332.1 ... A332.4 (applicable in ECL Comfort 310)
• A232.1 is heating / cooling related application, one control
valve
• A332.1 is like A232.1 and has additional return temperature
limitation
• A332.2 is heating / cooling related application, two control
valves and return temperature limitation
• A332.3 is like A332.2 and has additional advanced DHW circuit
control
• A332.4 is like A332.1 and has special override functionalities
The described functions are realized in ECL Comfort 210 for basic
solutions and in ECL Comfort 310 for advanced solutions, for
example M-bus, Modbus and Ethernet (Internet) communication.
The application Key A232 complies with ECL Comfort 210 and
ECL Comfort 310 controllers as of software version 1.11 (visible
at start-up of the controller and in 'Common controller settings'
in 'System').
A Remote Control Unit, ECA 30 or ECA 31, can be connected and
the built-in room temperature sensor can be utilized. When using
the ECA 31, the relative humidity signal is used for preventing
condensation (dew) when in cooling mode.
The application A332.3 works with the Internal I/O module ECA
32 (order code no. 087H3202).
Together with the ECL Comfort 310, the additional Internal I/O
module ECA 32 can also be used for extra data communication
to SCADA:
• Temperature, Pt 1000 (default)
• 0 - 10 volt signals
The set-up of input type can be done by means of the Danfoss
Software "ECL Tool".
