Operating Guide ECL Comfort 210/296/310, application A232 / A332
The application A332.3 is basically like the application A332.2.
Extras in relation to A332.2:
Temperature sensors S5 (heating circuit) and S6 (cooling circuit)
can be used for either return temperature limitation or surface
temperature limitation. Functionality selection is done by setting
an influence factor. If influence factors are set for both Return and
Surface limitation, there will not be any limitation.
Advanced Domestic Hot Water (DHW) heating control:
The DHW temperature at S9 is maintained at 'Comfort' level at a
DHW draw-off (DHW tapping) (the flow switch S8 is activated).
If the measured DHW temperature at S9 is lower than the desired
DHW temperature, the motorized control valve M3 is opened
gradually and vice versa.
The DHW temperature control is in relation to actual supply
temperature S7. In order to compensate for the reaction time,
the motorized control valve can be pre-activated at the start of a
DHW draw-off.
An idle temperature (the desired Saving temperature) can be
maintained at either S7 or S9 when there is no DHW draw-off.
By means of a week schedule, the DHW circuit can be in 'Comfort'
or 'Saving' mode (two values for the desired DHW temperature).
The return temperature S10 can be limited, for example not to be
too high or too low.
If so, the desired flow temperature at S9 can be adjusted, for
example to a lower value. This results in a gradual closing of the
motorized control valve.
An anti-bacteria function is available for activation on selected
days of the week.
For a description of the change-over from heating to cooling
operation, please read the section 'A232 in general' .
The shown diagram is a fundamental and simplified example and does
not contain all components that are necessary in a system.
All named components are connected to the ECL Comfort controller.
