OPCUA Enable
Range: Disabled, Enabled
Default: Disabled
The OPCUA Enable setting is only for a relay with a communications Order Code 4.
In this case only, the OPC-UA and the IEC61850 protocol do not run simultaneously. If
IEC61850 is running by default but it is desired to use OPC-UA instead, the user must put
the OPCUA Enable setting to Enabled. Then, the relay must be rebooted. This will run the
OPC-UA instead of the IEC61850.
In SR350 with communications Order Code 5, this setting is not visible and both protocols
run simultaneously.
The servers internal configuration data are the following:
OPC-UA connection port is 4842Maximum number of sessions per server is 2
The server has the following data types:
Double - used for Analog Values
Boolean - used for Digital, Logic, Input and Output data
The server guarantees the reading of 60 nodes. If the number of nodes is bigger than
this value, the response time increases proportionally to the number of nodes.
Modeling for the following:
Events
All digital signals available are defined as an event source. So, the Server connection is
declared as a unique event notifier.
Alarms
The alarms are not supported.
Commands
The Open&Close breaker and Reset commands have been implemented as Method
services.
The OPC-UA server has implemented the following Analog, Digital, Input, Logic and
Command points, as shown in the tables.
