• Check that the paper used for the document is not thinner than 64 g/m
• Check that the paper used for the document is not longer than 900 mm (400 mm when
duplex scanning).
• Check that the document guide is adjusted to suit the document size.

• Check that the document guide is adjusted to suit the document size.
• Check that the document is not curled.

Remove foreign objects inside the ADF
Reattach the document scanning position
actuator.
Check the connection of the document
scanning position sensor harness, and
reconnect it if necessary.
Reattach the second side document hold.
Replace the document separate roller

Replace the main PCB ASSY.
Cause
Remove foreign objects in the ADF
document eject path.
Reattach the document pinch roller.
