5. To reinstall, reverse the order of removal.

• Take notice that, do not catch the cable.

5.17 Backup battery

NOTE
• This printer uses a lithium battery to backup memory. Replace the battery with our specified memory backup battery (CR2032).
Use of a different battery or the one not equal to our specified battery may present risk of explosion.
• Before your backup battery replacement, refer to the section

NOTE
• When inserting the new backup battery, be sure that the + side faces toward the downward.

1. Remove the waste toner bottle.
