Troubleshooting

Problem
The oven does not work.
The oven door cannot be
opened.
The symbol for the type of
heating set and the clock
display flash.
The clock display flashes.
The oven does not heat up. A
square appears in the
temperature display.
Should a malfunction occur, it is often only due to a
minor fault. Please read the following notes before
calling the after sales service.
Possible cause
Blown fuse.
Power cut
The oven is locked.
The oven door is locked.
Self cleaning has started.
The self cleaning process
was interrupted by a power
cut, for example.
The function selector was
switched off too soon after
self cleaning.

The appliance is currently
in demo mode.
Comments/remedy
Look in the fuse box to make sure that
the fuse for the appliance is okay.
Check whether the kitchen light
switches on.
Press the key button until the key
symbol in the display goes out.
The S and p symbols appear in the
display. The childproof lock is activated.
Press and hold the p key button for
4 seconds. You can only open the oven
door again when the S locking symbol
in the display goes out.
Wait until the S symbol goes out.
Wait until the oven has cooled and until
the S symbol goes out.
Wait until the oven has cooled and until
the S symbol goes out.
First reset the clock and then the type of
heating.
Reset the time.
Switch off the fuse in the fuse box. Wait
for approximately 20 seconds. Switch
on the fuse again. Within the next
2 minutes, press the rapid heating up
button for 6 seconds until the square in
the display disappears.
