Position of the knife holder

Requirement
Adjustment gauge 1 should
1. Be parallel to the stationary cutting edge and
2. Be positioned in the centre of the cutout in the needle plate insert.

Remove the knife and fit adjustment gauge 1.
Press down the knife bracket by hand and set knife holder 2 (screws 3) in accordance
with the requirements.
Remove adjustment gauge 1 and insert the knife.
Carry out a manual cutting test, see Chapter 13.47.06 Manual cutting test.
