The PFAFF 3119 can be installed in two different ways.

Version A: Sewing crosswise to the table edge
Version B: Sewing parallel to the table edge

When the machine is installed for "Sewing parallel to the table edge", the eye
shield 1, part no. 91-160 383-90, must be fitted.
When installing machines with sub-class -10/01, the safety covers must be
attached irrespective of the installation variant.
The safety covers must be fitted before the machine is set into operation and
must not be removed, see also Chapter 1.04 Danger warnings!
