HYDRO-GEAR TRANSAXLE
13. Remove the two nuts and washers that are
located on each side of the transaxle axle housing
holding the transaxle to the frame (Figure 128).

14. Slowly lower the transaxle slightly and STOP. You
will need to disconnect the hydro rod from the
cruise control plate. Remove the cotter pin and
washer (Figure 129).

15. Continue to lower the transaxle out of the tractor
frame (Figure 130).

Installation - Hydro-Gear Transaxle
1.
Raise the transaxle up toward the frame allowing
enough room to install the hydro rod to the cruise
plate and secure with a cotter pin and washer
(Figure 129).
2.
Secure the transaxle to the frame brackets with
four carriage bolts, washers, and nuts (Figure
131).
